You Can Make A Difference!

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Our cats depend on volunteers to keep their living quarters clean and provide regular meals. The Cat Care Crew is a team of volunteers who take care of the cats each morning. Volunteers are needed seven days a week.

  • We are looking for someone that can meet and greet our Café visitors, answer the phone, take payments for sessions and purchases, keep our Café clean and stock our coffee, tea, water and snacks. If you enjoy talking with people and interacting with cats and kittens, this volunteer job is purr-fect for you!

  • Cat transport volunteers drive cats to and from veterinary appointments. Spay/neuter appointments are early morning with pickup mid-afternoon. If you like to drive and live on the north/northwest side of town, you may like this volunteer position.

  • These volunteers assist with general clerical duties such as printing, copying, and filing as well as answering the phone, accepting deliveries and other miscellaneous tasks needed that day. If you are organized and have excellent attention to detail, this volunteer opportunity may suit you well.

  • We have recently relaunched our Pawsitively Seniors Program, placing kitties with those who are 65+ and not financially eligible to afford the cost of adopting and owning a cat.

    This opportunity includes:

    • Transporting cats to/from seniors’ houses for veterinary or other needs.

    • Monthly check-ins with seniors

    • Transporting food/supplies to seniors’ houses
