Rehoming
The mission of PALnv is to save the lives of domestic cats and kittens living on our streets who are not skilled or conditioned to survive the perils faced by street cats. We work with TNR volunteers and cat colony caretakers who bring us cats they have rescued. We do not take in owner surrenders. If you are a trapper, rescuer, or finder, please visit our intake page to see if we can help you. You must fill out an Intake Form before we will consider taking in your cat(s).
We understand that sometimes unfortunate circumstances arise and you are unable to continue caring for your pet. If you adopted your pet from PALnv, call us to discuss the option of returning the pet to us. If you obtained the pet somewhere else and you have decided that rehoming is the best option, we recommend asking friends or family members first. If that fails, consider the resources below.

Rehome by Adopt-A-Pet is a tool designed through the Petco Foundation to help pets go from their current home directly to their new adopter without ever entering a shelter or ending up in dangerous hands via a classified site. It guides individuals who are rehoming a pet and gets their pet seen by thousands of potential adopters on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
