Sponsor Our Cats
Sponsoring a cat at PALnv helps us ensure they can receive their food, medical care, and a safe place while they wait for their furever home. Our medical cases are cats who are in need of special needs, operations, and/or other medical circumstances. Sponsoring our cafe cats provides food, annual vaccines, immune supplements, and general wellness. Sponsoring a specific cafe cat cares for their individual special needs.

Hershey
Hershey was found on the street and brought to us. He was fine at first, then he started vomiting and presenting signs of illness. We ran bloodwork to see what was going on and his blood work showed kidney issues. We started him on a strict renal diet and supporting him with fluids. Then, he got worse. He had an IV catheter placed where we could give him IV fluids for a few days, which helped him perk back up. Then, he began having diarrhea and vomiting again. We retested his bloodwork to see his kidney levels had improved! However, he was still having GI upset symptoms. We consulted with our veterinarian and she advised we add in a gastrointestinal food. We gave him an anti-nausea shot and started the transition from Renal food to GI food and that helped a lot. Hershey was accidentally given normal adult food once and it threw him off for three days. At this time, we have concluded he has a severe food sensitivity. He is thriving on GI dry & Wet food; so, if he is internally normal, he can live a long happy life on this food.
Hershey’s sponsorship helps us provide his special GI food for him and his future adopter.

Tommy B
Tommy B is a sweet FIV+ kitty. He’s a 10 year old cat that was trapped in the area of the large apartment complex along Sky Pointe, between Azure & Tenaya. Unfortunately, he has encountered multiple urine issues, leaving him on a special urinary diet for the rest of his life. Sponsoring Tommy B will cover his special food that costs about $70/month. It could also help us with potential medical diagnostic tests we might encounter during his stay with us!

Toad
Toad first came to us as a mess. He earned his name after yelling for food, where we discovered his unique meow, sounding exactly like a frog. When we did his bloodwork for his senior panel, we discovered Toad had diabetes, as well as a UTI. We started him on antibiotics for his UTI and insulin for the diabetes, as well as consistently measuring his blood sugar and switching him to a high-protein diet. After a few rounds of insulin, we discovered Toad’s blood sugar was getting normal, so much so we didn’t give him insulin for days. After a few weeks of not having to give him insulin, we retested his blood, finding out his diabetes appeared to be gone. Our veterinarian discussed the case with an internist at our laboratory company and they determined he had something called Transient Diabetes.
Toad's blood sugar levels are managed with a simple high-protein diet, which is food you can find at any pet store - no veterinary diet needed!Your sponsorship helps buy his special food to keep him happy and healthy!

Taz
Taz is the most sweet and unique looking kitty you’re ever going to meet. She came in after her temporary owner’s had found her and another kitty on the street. Unfortunately, their apartment found out about the cats and forced them to give them up. Taz came in with a terrible ear infection, upper respiratory infection, eye infection, and her wobbly stride.
With her slight smushed in face, her short tail, and short little legs that she wobbles around with, she will guarantee to make your heart melt the moment you meet her! As cute and special as she is, we aren’t 100% sure she is medically healthy and well. Our volunteer veterinarian has looked at her, but we cannot establish her health without bloodwork and x-rays. After we successfully obtain those and figure out if she has issues or if she’s just a special girl, we can further evaluate her needs and get her ready to find her furever home!
Your sponsorship will help us get the immediate answers we need to determine her state of well being, and any additional testing/medical care she may need in the future.

Rosie's Dental
Rosie is one of PALnv's Pawsitively Senior Cats. Our Pawsitively Senior Program pairs PALnv cats with low-income seniors in a permanent foster home to accompany them with the companionship of a kitty. PALnv covers all medical costs and encounters, and supplies all food and other needs to make the cat comfortable.
Rosie was originally brought to PALnv's Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe in 2023. Prior to being with us, Rosie was with another organization, stuck in a cage at PetSmart while they tried to get adopted. After they discovered she doesn't do well in a cage, she was in a closet. Rosie, luckily, found her way to us, and was adopted just a few months after her arrival. In 2025, Rosie was returned because the adopter said they started developing allergies. Rosie was very shy and nervous when she came back, which we don't blame her for at all after everything he has been through. We sent her to a foster to let her decompress and she opened up right away. We determined Rosie deserves to be in a home where she can live peacefully, and not even have a chance to be returned. So, Rosie became a Pawsitively Senior candidate. When we received our first senior for the program, she fell in love with Rosie. Rosie only spent seven days in the cat cafe from foster home to her Pawsitively Senior's home. She has been living happily in her home since August 2025!
Rosie's previous adopter did take her to the vet to get a dental done, but they only extracted half of her teeth. Rosie is now showing signs of dental issues, as she is eating less and has a bad odor coming from her mouth. Rosie needs another dental procedure to remove the rest of the teeth that are inflamed and causing her discomfort.
Rosie just celebrated her 7th birthday on April 16th! So, she will also need a senior panel completed to ensure she's healthy!
Your contribution helps support her dental exam, x-ray, blood work, extractions, and her speedy and safe recovery!
Every contribution moves Rosie closer to a pain‑free life in her safe, warm home. -
Bertie's Dental
Bertie is a cautious, but sweet kitty that has been with us since 2022. She came to us as a baby and has always been shy and scared. She prefers the independent lifestyle and lounges around the cafe. Recently, we have noticed she has been losing weight. Our volunteer veterinarian looked at her and saw she has a terrible dental disease, causing her to have holes in her teeth. Dental problems, as we human know, is very painful. She is getting wet food and pain medication, but she needs a dental very soon.
If you've been to the cat cafe, you know and love our precious girl. Please assist us in raising money for our sweet girl to give her the comfort she used to know back.
**UPDATE: As of April 23rd, we have raised about $1,000 for Bertie! She will be scheduled very soon,l and any remaining funds will go towards Rosie’s dental!
Thank you to everyone who supported our sweet girl.
