PALnv Clinic Equipment Fund
Veterinary Equipment We Need:
Surgery Light
Estimated: $3,500
One of our goals in our mission statement is to reduce the cat overpopulation problem in our community through spay/neuter programs. We have been building our very own in-house spay/neuter program to accomplish this. Once we are set up, we will be able to spay/neuter the cats in our program in house, as opposed to sending them through a clinic, exposing them to diseases and infections. We also hope to open up to our rescue partners, trappers and colony feeders in our Resource Coalition, providing low-cost veterinary services and low-cost spay/neuters to help save more cats.
We have partnered with Antech Diagnostics who have generously donated a lot of our equipment, including our two blood analyzers, a centrifuge, our autoclave ($6,500), our surgery table ($5,100), our anesthesia monitor ($3,700), and $15,000 to MWI Veterinary Supplies for more equipment, like our surgery table, anesthesia machine, and wet sink. However, there's still some things we need to be able to officially begin spay/neuters, and eventually low-cost dental procedures, as well.
